I just wanted to give you a sneek peek of my upcoming Bonjour Winter 2010 collection.

What to expect in winter?

I have decided to show you a sneak peak at my winter collection. I am still very secretive about my designs but I have decided to let you in on my fabric selection. As always, I just love bold colours and fabric designs. My winter collection will be inspired by FRANCE and so my colour choices are a combination of red, blue and white.

I have finished creating and my samples are currently on their way to the very talented Rachel Richter for a mini photo shoot. I can't wait to show off my new creations to you all !

I hope everyone had a great Christmas break with family and friends. I am really enjoying somewhat lazy days doing very little work for Mooce Baby and primarily eating all the chocolates and sweets I've been given.... oh well, I will deal with it in 2010 :-)


Here is one photo I wanted to share with you of my little munchkin from today, she got a Mooce skirt for Christmas. She is just about to take off on her little feet which means she can start wearing all her skirts and dresses.

The Spots and Stripes skirt was really popular before Christmas and so I only have one left in size 1.

I am also planning to start the New Year with a giveaway - make sure you check my blog next week!

Thea & Sami Challenge

So if you remember I was selected by Thea from Thea & Sami to receive their new lovely organic muslin fabric with Pets & Bones print in hot pink and had to create something from the fabric, take a picture and send them back to Thea.

I am proud to say that I have completed my mission and here is my summer dress creation for my daughter Madeleine. I wanted something feminine and cute. The pink ruffle has been hand stitched and took for ever to make (sigh). The fabric is so light and soft, it was an absolute pleasure to work with.

I am so excited to announce that Mooce Baby has a new stockist – Angelfish Dragonfly.

Angelfish Dragonfly is an online boutique specialising in exquisitely handmade garments with limited edition runs or one off designer originals. They support Australian Designers, Australian Made and Australian companies where ever possible.

Celebrations Studios

I have received a really nice email from Catherine on Saturday morning and would like to share with you what was in it.

Catherine is a professional photographer and the face behind Celebrations Studios . She sent me photos of her baby boy, River, wearing Mooce Baby pants which were given to her by her friend Thea . As I was looking at the pictures, I realised that there is actually quite a few kids now running around in Mooce clothes. Thanks everyone for coming to shop or participate at the Mathilda’s Market on Sunday. It was great to meet new people and say hello to everyone visiting my stall (if you could find me). As it was my second market it was really good to have customers returning and shopping with me again, yay!

Overall, it was a fantastic day with a big crowd.

I have been screen printing

I couldn't wait to use my newly acquired skills from Thea&Sami screen printing class. This is my take on the cherry blossom tree that I adore. The tshirts will be available at the Mathilda's Market on 1st November 2009. If you want one you will have to email me to snatch one from the pile before they disappear : )

Busy, busy, busy bee…..

I am busy! The preparations for the November Mathilda’s Market are in full swing here at Mooce Baby. I am trying to plan ahead a bit this time, so I have enough stock for the eager shoppers that will come. To make things more complicated, I have a big order to complete at the same time for my new online retailer. As always, it is exciting to get a new shop on board but you will have to wait for the details until mid November  : )

New Stockist

It is always pleasing to get enquiries from retailers about my products and the possibility of stocking them in their store.

I was delighted to receive an email from ‘Butterflys and Bugs Boutique’ asking if I was interested in providing Mooce Baby products to be sold in their new store in Bendigo.

So with the first shipment received and a Tea Party Dress sold on the first day all is looking great.
