Thanks everyone for coming to shop or participate at the Mathilda’s Market on Sunday. It was great to meet new people and say hello to everyone visiting my stall (if you could find me). As it was my second market it was really good to have customers returning and shopping with me again, yay!

Overall, it was a fantastic day with a big crowd.

I have been screen printing

I couldn't wait to use my newly acquired skills from Thea&Sami screen printing class. This is my take on the cherry blossom tree that I adore. The tshirts will be available at the Mathilda's Market on 1st November 2009. If you want one you will have to email me to snatch one from the pile before they disappear : )

Busy, busy, busy bee…..

I am busy! The preparations for the November Mathilda’s Market are in full swing here at Mooce Baby. I am trying to plan ahead a bit this time, so I have enough stock for the eager shoppers that will come. To make things more complicated, I have a big order to complete at the same time for my new online retailer. As always, it is exciting to get a new shop on board but you will have to wait for the details until mid November  : )

Mooce Baby will be at the Mathilda's market again!

Mathilda's Market is a shopper’s heaven for those who want to stylishly dress their children or decorate their kids’ home environment, but don’t want to buy mass produced, chain store items.

At Mathilda’s Market you’ll see the funkiest and most gorgeous of outfits for the kids, chic bedroom decorations and furnishings, bright and brilliant toys, must-have accessories, pretty and practical bags and shoes, dreamy vintage-inspired creations, handcrafted musical instruments and jewellery, fabulous dress-up costumes, striking linen ... and so much more!

As most of us don’t have a shop front, you are guaranteed to find something truly unique. Come and see Mooce Baby stand at the upcoming Mathilda’s Market on Sunday 1 November, from 9am to 1pm at Brisbane City Hall, King George Square, Main Auditorium (ground floor).
With over 60 stallholders and yummy food this will be a fantastic day out for young & old.

So, Mooce Baby has been to the Mathilda’s Market and I must say “What a fabulous day!” From the moment the doors opened at 9:00am the City Hall main auditorium was a buzz. The day exceeded my expectations, with a lot of excited people crowded around my stall. I could not believe it when my Butterfly dress sold within the first hour.

Thank you to everyone for coming and showing your support, providing wonderful feedback, giving your best wishes and biggest smiles.

New dress at Mooce Baby

I have decided to share this new creation with you all early because I am very pleased with the end result. I love the fabric and the colours. I have incorporated the butterfly theme into the cut of the dress by reproducing the butterfly motif into the sleeve. I think this adds an interesting feature to the dress . The fabric is designed by Valori Wells.

The dress will make its début at the Mathilda’s Market but I have already had an early order so it is available for sale now!!!

I have some more exciting news about new retailer that contacted me but can’t reveal the details as yet!
