Mathilda's Market here I come.....

Oh, I am extremely excited to be part of Mathilda’s Market in July this year. This is my first market EVER and so I am busily getting ready :-)

Mathilda's Market is a fabulous niche market that offers unique, stylish and affordable baby & kids goods that are lovingly handmade or of limited production. The retailers are hand picked to ensure an exciting product range. You will discover a vast variety of funky, unique and gorgeous clothing (for example organic cotton, vintage, 70's, etc) wooden letters, canvasses, soft & wooden toys, soft leather shoes, travel activity packs, room decor, bags, paintings, fun & personalised accessories, vintage-inspired products, musical instruments, handcrafted jewellery, fairy & dress up costumes & accessories, hair accessories, doll houses & accessories, linen, sleepwear and so much more! Most of the retailers (like me) do not have a shop front, so you know you'll find something special, not available anywhere else.

Come and see the Mooce Baby stand on Sunday 19 July 2009 from 9am to 1pm at the Brisbane City Hall, King George Square, Main Auditorium (groud floor).

I think it will be a fantastic day out for you & your family.
Can’t wait to see you there!

I love organic cotton ….

I spend a lot of my time looking for interesting fabrics. I came across the Thea & Sami ( http://www.thea-sami.com.au/ecostore.html ) online store. I love Thea’s range of designs and fabrics and I have decided to include her Pets & Bones organic cotton jersey fabric into my clothing collection. Here is a sneak peek at my baby/toddler pants I created yesterday. I think they are adorable - this would have to be the softest cotton ever!!!

So, this is my first post!

I am so excited to be working on my own little collection. It has been long time coming and I have finally decided to do something about it. I started to plot my business ideas properly when I found myself suddenly at home during my last trimester of pregnancy. My daughter Madeleine was born 6 months ago and I am now finding some spare time to bring my ideas into the light.

I hope there will be many more posts in the future as I would love to share my journey with you all.
